In-Person Therapy

Whether you’re looking for help coping with day-to-day stress, you and your partner need in-person couples therapy, or you need support managing the symptoms of a mental health condition, therapy can help.

While some prefer the convenience of online therapy, many still prefer therapy in person. Others choose a hybrid approach based on their individual scheduling needs.

If you’re wanting some IRL face-time with a therapist, I offer in-person therapy in Los Angeles. Together, we can establish your unique mental health goals and help you move toward them.

Why Choose In-Person Therapy?

In today’s highly-remote world, it might seem like teletherapy is the only way to go. But, when deciding on either online or in-person therapy, it’s important that you choose the option that will best support your connecting with your therapist and showing up consistently.

In my experience, in-person therapy is a better choice for some clients for the following reasons:

  • It allows them to stay focused throughout the entire session. Some people might become easily distracted when they’re in therapy sessions at home.

  • Getting dressed and out the door for a therapy appointment can be empowering. Showing up for therapy in person helps many people feel accomplished.

  • In-person therapy provides a private, physical space dedicated to self-exploration, where you don’t have to worry about family members or roommates overhearing you.

  • You can avoid tech-related issues like weak WiFi or a dying tablet battery.

Every client has unique circumstances that may impact their ability to go to therapy physically. But if you’re looking for individual psychotherapy, therapy for trauma, or support through life transitions, and believe face-to-face may be your best bet, I offer in-person therapy in Los Angeles!
